Not the Beatles album; the movie based on the album. Starring Peter Frampton, the Bee Gees, George Burns, Steve Martin (in his motion picture debut), and Aerosmith as 'FVB'.
This is perhaps the worst movie I have ever seen. There is absolutely no dialogue (George Burns [as Mr. Kite] narrates). The clothing? Horrible. The hair? I forgot how bad 70's hair really was. The special effects? Atrocious!
Two thumbs up!
The music is what makes the movie. What could be better than the Bee Gees covering the Beatles? Not a whole hell of a lot! Definitely a must see, and if you have the Sundance Channel you can see it this month! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
PS. . .there are so many stars in this movie (especially the SPLHCB reprise at the end) that I don't really want to take up the space putting them all in here, but it is worth a look. :)
